Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean provide the convenience of cleaning both dry and wet messes in one time and without the need to switch devices. They can also help save space compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacle avoidance. Look for models with docks that let them automatically empty their bins, replenish their water tanks and wash the mopping pads.
- Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the simplest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking is simple and the quick-start guide can get you running in no time. It comes with an entire dust bag, water tank and hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. Its mops spin at high speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of pet hair, dirt, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a range of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app which lets you select the type of cleaning you want for each room.
You can, for example, ask the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation tech are also excellent and the robot is capable of detecting small obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only issue it has is that it can smash into walls and other objects at a high speed, but a quick glance at the history of cleaning within the app will show you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading, and which obstacles it's avoided.
The docking station has an LCD display that shows the need for maintenance, such as emptying debris and washing the dirty water tank. It also mixes detergent into the water tank by itself by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop can run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode and www.robotvacuummops.uk the vacuum can last 136 mins in standard mode, before having to recharge or returning to the base. The app is simple to use and intuitive that lets you see every aspect of the cleaning.
- Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's top robot mop and vacuum. In contrast to the model of last year this one has a double agitator in its mopping pad which significantly improves its carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power that allows it to pull up finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners might miss.
This Roborock model, just like the other two I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it avoid obstacles such as furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and includes dual cameras that can detect objects, determining whether they are walls or other surfaces. It then can alter its direction in a way that is automatic and clean around them, without missing a step.
It's the most expensive robot I've ever tested and it comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular design is attractive and it has only three physical buttons that include the power button which can also restart cleaning
